Hi All,

I have a very strange situation with two of our helpdesk operatives' PCs. They are both missing the "Shadow" option from the context menu and the action menu when a session is selected.

It has to be something to do with the PC, as I have logged these users on to other machines and the shadow option is available to them. I have logged on to these machines (domain admin) and I don't get the shadow option either.

I have unistalled / reinstalled CMC several times to no avail as domain administrator, local administrator.

Any idea would be gratefully received.

Many thanks

P.S. This thread is also on the Citrix Forum

....and you have specified the correct shadow permissions for these users at the Citrix level, within the Citrix Management Console?

FYI, Domain Admins do not have shadow permissions by default.

woter324,
This usually means that you do not have the ICA client installed on this server.
You need the ICA client to shadow another users session.

Install the ICA client and then launch the CMC and it should work.

Hope that helps.

when you installed PS did you specify shadowing allowed? if not you will need to rerun install on the servers and select shadowing with the options you want.
