Hi all
Hope you can help....When I try to open up Access, it comes up with a security warning about code that is intended to harm the computer, you then either cancel the operation or open - this is normal. When I click on open though, the whole application shuts down - no warning is given. I've tried to log off and back on again but it doesn't help!

Please help
thanks
Sarah

Have you tried to open the database while holding the shift key depressed ?

Hope This Helps, PH.

Hi - just tried it - doesn't work!!
I have just found out though that another user repeatedly knocked her power cable out of her machine yesterday, so I wonder if this had something to do with the problems we are having now?

Try opening MS Access on its own: - Any errors?
If no errors, then open your DB from the opened Access. What is your observation?

If MS Access can't open on its own, then a reinstallation may be the best option.

Note: a descriptive error message will help.

By the way, what OS are you using?

Peace,

me2you
