access in win 2k server

Hi all
I've been running a peer to peer win 2k network with an access front end and backend databse. I have now upgraded to win 2k server.

Do i still have the front end on the users machines and the backend on the server or do i put both on the server and access the fe over the network, then connect to the be from the fe. I used shared folders and tried the fe on the user machine and the be on the server but i get an invalid path error message. I tried it the other way and got the same message. If i knew which was the best way to go i could have a crack at it.

When i click on the fe the machine also requests the office 2000 disk which i input. It then comes up with another error message something about cannot find files. The program then loads okay.

Anyone got any ideas

sounds like there might be a problem on the share permissions, or the path changed.
It should work the same on workstation and server, it's just accessing the file.
