I am trying to highlight the current record in tabular form view. I have the record selector visible. The user clicks on the record to view and it should change background color to highlight that record.
Thanks
Homer

Try clicking on the FAR left side of the record in the gray this will get the entire record.
You'll know where because the first record has a small black arrow pointing right.
This is not the regular datasheet form view. This is a hand coded screen that looks like the datasheet view. Thus all fields and controls on a row will have to have a variable set that will control the background color property, foreground color property, or both; changed when the record is selected. I am having trouble with determining when the row is selected.
Thanks
Homer

So you are not using any form views provided by Access.
What are you using a Listbox?
or are you writing something on top of a form?
Do you have a code snipet we could look at?
The solution to this problem is documented at The Access Web. It's too long to reproduce here.

<A HREF=" TARGET="_new">
When you get there click on Forms and then in the upper right frame, scroll down to the fourth item from the end called "Changing the background color of the current record in a continuous form."
