Access Forms Problem

I have a database that we have been using for over two years. Several forms and reports run using a switchboard. When I came in this morning the switchboard didn't work. I can go behind the scenes and open all the tables, the queries and the reports. However, I am unable to open a single form. Even the switchboard. Has this ever happened to anyone? Any advice is appreciated!

Try running compact and repair on the database, make sure you backup first!

Thank you Joe. I tried both and that did not work. It's almost like the forms are really not there. I can't open in form view, design view or even delete them!

Did someone set up permissions on this db? You may not have permissions to the forms and have permission to open other things. What kind of message are you getting when you try to open a form? Are you able to click on the form objects or is it sort of grayed out? Dawn

try saving the forms to a different database and opening in design.
