Hi !

I would like to link one field form an ACCESS database to an Excel table so that when I change the numbers in Excel the Access database will automaticaly update that field in the database ! Is this possible? Please help me guys because I allready have a headache !

Many thanks,

Bobby

From within Access, you should be able to FILE -> GET EXTERNAL DATA -> LINKED TABLES and specify the spreadsheet that the linked table is in.

Thanks for your answer but I don´t think you understood me !
I do not want to link an Excel table to an Access database , I want to link records from Access to cells from Excel tables so that they can make an automatic update!!!The Hyperlink doesn´t do this !I was asking if this is possible?

Many thanks,

Bobby

Any ideas if there are limits to cell lengths in Excel pivot tables linking from an Access 2000 data source. If there is a limit, are there any ways of getting around this to pull in a lengthy memo field. Im using Excel 97 SR-2
