I need help

Using access 2002

My vba editor keeps backspacing at the end of line when I attempt to enter spaces, while entering vba code. I did not have this problem at the start of the project.

I have looked at the the tool options for editing and have not found an option to disable this nuance.

Have I hit some short cut accidently that activated this feature? I can manually force spaces by backspacing into text and inserting spaces before the end of line.

You probably have a form open, which utilizes a timer, close that when developing.

Roy-Vidar,

If I may jump in -- just want to thank you for that!

Have had a distributed GUI for 3+ years that behaves exactly as described. Knew it was the form because the problem ceased if the form was closed but have never been able to track down the exact cause. You hit the nail on the head.

Thanks again!

Bob

Thanks
I have a timer runing on the master switch, disabled the timer and my problem was solved.

Thanks Iceman
