access denied backing up exchange server

hi

I get

"Unable to attach to \\serverame\Microsoft Exchange Directory.
Access is denied."

Ive reinstalled the agent. ive definately got admin permissions on the box but i still get the same error?
have looked at veritas site and cant find much on that error that helps me.

anyone got any ideas? i havnt bounced the box since installing the agent - could that be the problem?

on your backup server:

Regedit to: HKeyLocalMachine/software/Veritas/BackupExec/Engine/NTFS

Change the Value of "restrict anonymous support" to 1

to be honest.. no

I found it in an article somehwere on support.veritas.com, all i know is that it worked for me and at that point i could care less.
