Access denied after moving documents

Hope someone will understand what I am saying.
I moved all the files from 2 workstations onto a new server, now it wont give USERS access it denies them, will work if i am logged in as a administrator.
I have created a folder in the server that i want them to share, i have stored all the documents in the folders on the server, and added a group i created with all there names in the group, but when i log onto the server from a workstation as a user it denies me access, its ok when i log in as an administrator.
Sorry its all a bit vague.

Have you tried going into Advance Security Settings and check the option "Replace permission entries on all child objects with entries shown here that apply to child objets"?
