Hi

I have setup an Access database but some has changed my permnissions so now I do not have the permission to open it. Is there any way I can over-ride this feature?

teebird,
I assume you are on a network.
If you have admin privilages you can take ownership of the file. If not find someone who does.

HOW TO: Take Ownership of Files

Hope this helps

MS Access Control Source question.

I am trying to link one text box to another.

I have a database with 4 tables and 1 form. On one of the tables, tblRequestors, there are two fields: Extension Number and Requestor. On the form, I allow the user to enter the extension number. If it is a valid extension number, I want to the name of the requestor to appear on the form. If invalid, I want an error message. How do I write the control source on the requestor field? I can get the requestor to hold the extension number, but I can't get the link to work. Any suggestions? Do I need to use a query?

Thanks

OBes - first your question has nothing to do with the original, so you should start a new thread.
Second, you should post all access questions in one of the six forums for Access. Your question has been answered many times there.
