Hi everyone,

Does anyone know if we can connect to the database on the NuPoint server or export the DB?

We'd like to be able to run historical reports on certain call flows without using the call flow report on the NuPoint. Reason being that when the server is rebooted, all of that data is gone and we can't run a report for a specific month. In order to do that, we'd need to reset the call flow report at the beginning of the month and clear it before the next month and hope that the server is not rebooted in the meantime.

Is there a way to grab that data?

Thanks for your help!

Not that I have come across. Have had this issue with multiple customers. Have basically been informed by Mitel that call accounting which really doesn't give you the reporting that would be useful (within the menu what was pushed etc).
Only other option I have used in the past is with MiCC and IVR ports, let us know if you find anything otherwise.

So what I did remember while working on another project was that the Call Flow statistics are stored as a XML file in /usr/vm/val5/CallFlows/xxxx_yyyy_stats.xml
where:
xxxx = lineGroup or mbox
yyyy = the number of linegroup or mailbox

I am not sure what would happen if you blank or delete this file but you could test on a test mailbox. If successful you could setup a script to scp and grab this file, then blank it out daily.

Then just parse the data and voila - call flow call accounting is complete!

If I get a chance to play with this I will but no promises. If you figure out a way please let us know.

AlphaMann, you are a lifesaver!!! That's exactly what I was looking for!!!

I will probably just pull a copy of that file every day and import into SQL.

Thank you so much for your help!! You rock!!
