I want to create a table with various part numbers and other data that I can use as a pull down list to create a bill of materials of all the parts needed on a specific project. However, if a part is not in my master library of parts, I would like to be able to type in the information into my BOM and also have my master parts table updated with the new part info. This will grow my master parts table making data entry much easier with each new job.
Can I do this in a single step or do I need to type the info into the master list and then select it from my pull down menu?
