I have an Access2000 database where I have some vb code entered. This runs fine on most PC's. However I have a user who get "Compile error: Can't fine project or library". I asked the user to check the references but the code icon is grayed out! How can I enable this on their PC and allow them to select the correct reference?

Thanks

Can the user open the database by holding the Shift button while opening to disable any startup restrictions? It is possible that is disabled as well, but it's a shot.

Then they can check their references.

Also, are you sure they are using the same version of Access, and that it is as up to date as the other machines, or that there are no add-in references that just haven't been added to that machine?

Problem resolved. The user didn't hold down the shift key to suppress the restriction. Also, there was a missing reference.

Thanks for your fast response
