Using Access 2002
Hi,
I have a problem with a combo box in a subform. Only one field is displayed and there is room for three lines in the window before the right scroll bar kicks in. That's when the problem occurs. The right scroll bar covers the combo box drop down activator. If I change to another record where the combo box has not yet filled the window I can shorten the length of the field line and return the the initial record to get the activator. I have tried manipulating the properties of the combo box but nothing has worked. Any ideas?
Thanks
Darrell

What is the query of the combo box based on? How many fields in the query. What is the column count property set to?

David,
Actually it feeds off a table using a SELECT statement in the row source to get the list of records. The table has two fields and the column count is two and the column widths is 0";1"

Are you using both fields? Is one field specifying the criteria of the query?

David,
One is an auto number primary key. The SELECT Statement is:
SELECT Colleges.College_ID, Colleges.College_Name FROM Colleges ORDER BY Colleges.College_Name;

However, I have a total of 4 of these windows linked to tables of various sizes that have the same problem. These subforms are part of a series of data entry screens to populate apropriate tables. I inherited the project in its final stages and I do not normally work in the Access environment. My assignment is to test and tweak before the customer gets a crack at it. So far I have been very busy doing that but this issue is aggrivating. My concern is that different users with different display settings may have additional problems if I just adjust/shorten and freeze/save the form view.

I will give it some more thought.
