I have a Norstar-Plus Modular ICS. The CICS is v5.0. When a user makes a long distance phone call they will hear a long steady tone at which point they enter a 4 digit code that allows the call to be placed. I'm trying to add codes for new employees, however, I have no idea where to add them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you are talking about account codes for long distance, that is from telco(your long distance carrier).

If you are talking about phones that are restricted and need a code to override(class of service password).

It sounds like you have account codes from Telco by the description you told. Check with your local and/or long distance provider. It should show up on your bill.

Good Luck!!

Also, do you have any call accounting software in place? Some of those will cause you to need a code. More than likely it is the carrier requiring the codes.

Thanks, It was our telco that's providing the service.
