Although the other Office programs work, the Access will not start and gives a "database not found, specify name/path" error message. The only event allowed is pressing "OK." The program never starts. Any suggestions?

Have you tried to re-install the program? I had this happen to me a while ago. I ended up downloading a fix from the Knowledge Base. It's a small program that re-registers Access in your Registry. How-ever I cannot recall the url for it at this time. Sorry.<br>

Autoresponse from original submittor: Using DOS I examined the CD to find the title of the exe file. Typing it ran the program without a problem, although a successful load to C: remains to be C'een.
