I went to see the books that Barnes And Noble has on Access, and they all sucked. Does anybody knows of a book that's worth buying? Please, I want the Title. I looked for information on Nz and IFF function and none of those books gave me what I was looking for, Examples on how to use those function.

Thanks,

Examples on how to use those function
When in VBE, highlight the function and simply press the F1 key.
You may also consider the Object browser (F2).

Hope This Helps, PH.

There is no IFF() function, it is IIf(). These are all avaible in Help. You may need to be in a module window to access VBA function help.

You don't need a book just to figure out how to use expressions, use Access Help and look under "About Expressions".

If you need to do more advanced stuff, I recommend a fantastic book called Access 2002 Bible (Gold Edition) by Michael R Irwin and Cary N Prague. I use it almost everyday. It is pretty pricey ($70 US) but has great descriptions and some really good examples.

Note: the index really sucks - for example to look up "Unique Records" you have to look under Queries, then under Records, then under Displaying Unique. So you do have to have a bit of background just to use the index!
