Please help! I've started a new job and I've been asked to de-duplicate some Excel worksheets in Access. I used to be really good at Access years ago, but am now a bit rusty.
I followed the MS Access Help instructions to the letter, but still am having an error message.
My problem is this: I imported a worksheet from Excel to Access to get rid of duplicates. I then created a copy of the saved table and saved it as structure only to be my 'append to' table. Next, I created a new primary key in the new table for the field with the duplicates. I then ran the append query per the Microsoft help instructions. I got this procedure to work on one of the tables I imported, but it won't work on the others. The error message I receive is "Duplicate Output Destination." I know what this means, but I don't understand if I am appending a table, why I would get this error message?
I hope you can help me with this problem.
Many thanks,
