I have a set of remote users attempting to access a database via a 56k dedicated frame relay..

upon attempting to open the file, access will open but then times out waiting for data, or so I assume..

the files are 60 to 160mb...

anybody have info on how far we need to upgrade our connection??

thx

If the database is being connected to via a ODBC connection, there are parameters in the connection and/or database objects that control the timeout value. You don't provide enough information in your thread to determine why the time out is occurring i. e., a complex query can time out because of the length of time it takes to execute the query, a simple query against millions of tuples can also timeout depending on your time out values.
