Access 97 not recognizing Format() function.

Has anyone ever run into a situation in MSAccess where a certain user's PC did not recognize selected standard functions such as "Date()" or "Format()"? I have a query that works fine on my pc but returns error messages relating to not recognizing these functions when I try to run on a user PC. Both machines are running Access97. Any ideas?

I had a problem like that awhile ago. Compare the "References" in the Tools menu of both machines to see if they are different.

For what it's worth I use Format in A97 dbases regularly - so it is NOT an A97 general problem.

I'd go with eclipse33 and dive at the References first too.
