I have a query that uses the between statement. This works fine under Access 97 and Win 95/98. However, when I open it in Access 97 & Win XP, I get a "can not resolve" error. Any ideas?[morning]

I can't imagine why, but I'd bet there's a very good chance that XP has either replaced, renamed, or removed a DLL that's needed somewhere in the process, by A97 and/or JET.

Have you tried RE INSTALLING Access/97?

If this does not work, try importing all the parts of your old database into a newly created one. You'd be suprised how many goofs this seemingly innocuous process fixes.

I ended up converting it to XP then back to 97 and it seems to be working.....you gotta wonder sometimes....
