I'm running MS Access 2010.
I have a Switchboard that calls a report in Print Preview.
This works OK.

However, if I click options on the Access Quick Access Toolbar for Print, or Email,
what actually prints (or emails) is the Switchboard Form, not the report.

If I run the report directly from the navigation bar it runs in Print Preview mode and the above Print and Emails options work fine.

I also tried creating a separate "Report Prompts" FORM to call the report from that rather than the Switchboard, but I get a similar outcome, it prints the "Report Prompts" form, not the Report.

Any ideas?

What I remember about the command buttons making a QAT (Quick Access Toolbar) is that printing is/can be done for an object type... So when you are clicking print it must be for a form object not the report object.

That's at least a place to start... I honestly forget if there is a generic print command in there, I want to say no.

Not sure if it helps but I found that there's numerous print options available (look at All commands), so make sure you've added the Print Preview one to the toolbar..
