Hello all

I am wondering if anyone has built a database in Access 2007. I would like to know if it is worth the money before i buy it. Downloaded a trial version, it looks like alot of changes have happened. But am wondering if there are any known bugs.

Anyone have any info?

Thanks

As I mentioned, self-certifying your project works wonders.

If you have the urge to try Access 2007 I suggest you lay down until the urge passes. It has been way more trouble then it is worth. Like everyone else says, wait for at least a year to work out the bugs, of which there are many!

I have been using ACC2007 for about 2 months now, developing new Db's as well as maintaining older ACC2003 & XP Db's, and after about 30 or 40 minutes of familiarisation to the new look and new location of functions, have yet to find something that really troubles me.
I usually hold off myself as others do, but was forced for various reasons to move now...I say, give it a try, its not that bad.

The only downside is the long delays in getting the new run-time version released

Funny...not one word about charts. I just watched the 70-minute MS presentation and have read most of the articles listed above. As usual, the ignored object :)

Runtime for Access 2007 is now available. I had dowloaded and installed, but haven't used it yet. I like the new access 2007 very much. Once you get through leanring the ribbon and where things are that is. I'm not a power VBA progammer, but so far, I like it much better than earlier versions.
