I was doing some debugging on an access 2007 database and commented out a line in a macro that backs up the database everytime it is opened. Now the database won't even open since I commented this line out. It seems to try to back up and can't run the line that locates the backup location. It then proceeds to just ask me to recover the database using the "microsoft reporting" option. Is there a way to disable macros before I even open an access database? Any other suggestions are appreciated too.

Have you tried to open the DB holding the shift key depressed ?

Hope This Helps, PH.
