I have Office XP with Access 2002 installed on my computer. Will the Access 2003 Developer Extensions work with Access 2002? If so, how? I need to package a DB with Run Time but when I click on the Package Wizard link from the Start Menu I get an alert saying that MSACCESS shortcut has been changed or moved.

Any ideas?

MDB file format, msaccess and access runtime should be same version.

Hope This Helps, PH.

Is it possible to get the Access 2002 Runtime environment without purchasing Office XP Developer? I think that Visual Studio Tools package has the Access 2003 Developer Extensions but from what you're saying that won't work because of the version differences.
