Access 2002 Exporting to Excel

I am exporting information from access to excel by opening an excel tamplate and downloading information to it. After closing both excel and access I cannot open excel again and see the worksheet. The application will open but the only thing that appears is the frame/toolbars without the spreadsheet section. This applies to an empty worksheet, workbook or one with information previously saved.

Any ideas?

How about trying to export straight from Access to Excel. Go to File export as and then select file type as excel.

If I understand what you are doing. Have you tried going to Tools, Office Links, Analyze with MS Excel and just save as an Excel Spreadsheet and copy over your old excel spreadsheet.
