access 2000 - merge 2 tables into 1 table 1

I'd like to have all the info in table 2 put into table 1. What would be the best way to do this?

An append query that matches the fields in table2 with the appropriate fields in Table1. Bring Table2 into a NEW query, change the query type to APPEND, provide the table being appended to in the appropriate dialog, and then match the fields as above. Should be a snap.
