I have an Access 2000 database that we have been opening via a runtime version of Access 2000 and the full version of Access 2003 for years. It has three tables that are linked to tables in a MySQL DB. These tables are also accessed by some Rockwell software. Recently we upgraded to Office 2010 Pro in the office. This seems to have removed the runtime we had on most machines. Since then, the Office 2010 PC's cannot access the MYSQL tables.
For computers that still have the runtime, and computers that have the full version of Access 2003, everything continues to work fine. However, on the machines that have Office 2010 Pro on them, we get a ODBC call failed error when we try and open a form that accesses any of the MySQL tables. I tried upgrading the DB to Access 2003 and 2007...neither of which took care of the issue.
Anyone have any ideas?
