Access 2000 can't save report changes

I converted all of my systems from A97 to A2K this weekend. Some of the reports lost their formatting,i.e. from landscape to potraiat, margins. In A97 i could make changes to reports while others were logged onto the system. Now A2K tells me i'm not open exclusive and can't save changes. Is there anyway around this? If not this is going to really suck!

Have you confirmed all users are opening the db in shared mode? Tools/Options/Advanced/Default open = shared

I did not know to look for that, but yes we are.
