Acces to slot inactive from Passport1200

Hi,

I cannot connect to my Passport1200 inactive slot 127.0.0.4 since the new version installation. The reboot was OK and I can ping 127.0.0.4. But the telnet doesn't work, and I have errors in the log file :

285: [11/03/2002 09:38:21] ERROR: Code=0x0 Task=tCPUsync: sioRxIccFrame: can't read from peer 127.0.0.4
286: [11/04/2002 09:53:16] ERROR: Code=0xd0003 Task=tCPUsync: sioTxIccFrame: can't write to peer 127.0.0.4

Does anyone have an idea of the problem ?

Do you have Telnet configured? What code version did you upgrade to? Rick Harris

Thanks Rick, it was the telnet that was not configured. The new version is 2.1.5.0.
The problem is that there is always the sames errors in the log file (can't read/write from peer 127.0.0.4). It appears every 3 days approximately.

Do you know how to correct thi bug ?

We are still running 2.0.7.2 code on our 1200.No errors like yours show up in our error logs.

Telnet session to inactive cpu works ok(2 cpu's in chassis). Rick Harris

Can i download that image for free on Nortel's website or do i need some kind of service contract with Nortel.
