Hello all,

We have a panasonic KX-TDA200 with 8 tenants.
These tenants can hold 1000 quick dial name/numbers.
So in theroy we can hold 8000 name/numbers.

But....

You have to asign a user group to a tenant, and put a extension in a user group. You can only select 1 tenant per user group and only 1 user goup per extension.

So, per extension, you can only access 1 tenants numbers.

The problem is, we have to much clients/customers/colleguas to fit in 1 tenant. so we realy like to use the multiple tenants. for example:
put all colleguas in tenant 1
put all customers in tenant 2
etc..

But then we must be able to access multiple tenant from a extension.

Is there a way to do this???
Is there a way to combine the tenants???
Is there a way to access multiple tenants???

Hope someone can help.

Martin

Yes i am an enduser, but i am in close contact with the company that is installing it for us. We are both trying to figure out this puzzle.

They are contacting Panasonic about it directly, but i thougt i give it a try also to find a answer.

you will not get installer level info from
U.S. dealers on a public forum!

Not a big deal really mate.

Put a memory expansion card in to give you the 8000 speed dial entries. Then don't do anything else.

By default the system doesn't tenant the speed dial locations, so anyone can access any speed dial. They are all common to all tenants.

This is a tenant by tenant setting, so if you have a couple of the tenants who demand their own speed dials, they can be seperated without much hassle. Tell your dealer its all under feature and then tenant.

Thanks for your answer...

I will take a look in the software under feature -> tenant later on.

I thought when all was in default mode, when you went to feature, and then the speed dialing list. It doesn't matter wich tenant you selected. it always showed the numbers from tenant 1 (system default).
And i only had 1000 numbers to fill... so it did not combine them.

but i will take a look in the maintenance console in a minute.

OK.... i just taken a look in the software....

When i go to: feature -> tenant [6-7]
i can only set the speed dial option to:
- same as system setting:
PBX common system speed dialling numbers are used
- Tenant Exclusive:
Individual tenant system speed dialing numbers are used

So, correct me if i am wrong. If i have to choose, i would go for option 1 (same as system setting). But when i do that, and i go to the speed dial list [6-1-1] i can only fill the default tenant. when i switch to a other tenant wich is set to 'same as system setting' i just see the deafult speed dial numbers again. so i can not enter more than 1000.

When i put tenants on option 2 (tenant exclusive) i can enter 1000 numbers in each tenant [6-1-1] but i have to asign a tenant to a group, and a extension to a group to see that tenants numbers in my system directory on my phone.

So the question now is. how do i get to insert all 8000 speed dial numbers, and have access to all 8000 speed dial numbers from my phone?
