I guess you have two SSF cards in your Accelar. These communicate between one another by telnetting to an IP address. The address is of the form 127.0.0.x, where x is the number of the slot where the card lives.
In this case the SSF in slot 5 has not responded to a request from the other SSF. It looks as thought the request in question was one of the periodic synchronisations between the master SSF and the standby unit.
You probably need to reboot at least the standby SSF to get it talking to the master again. It may be necessary to restart the entire switch.
I believe that this is a condition that arises because of a software issue, and it may be fixed by a code upgrade. Nortel's website should have information on this (
Hi,
You are right ! I have two SSF cards in the Accelar, some time ago when I had a chance, I reboot the accelar thinking it could fix this, but the problem is still happening.
I have two questions:
What could this problem affect the accelar or the standby SSF ?
I have the sys version 2140, is there an upgrade ?
