ACAN 15Mv monitor - which driver ? 1

Hello,

After helping my sister to re-install WIN98 SE on her pC? her monitor can not display more than 16 or 256 colors ... I don't have any driver file for this monitor.

Its characteristic, written on its back are :
LOW RADIATION
color monitor
ACANA peripherals USA corp.
Model: Professional 15 Mv
Manuf: September 1999
100-240 VAC 1.5A 60/50 Hz

Acana web site is poor, and doesn't answer to my email and doesn't propose any driver for the 15MV model.

Any advice how I could restore the 16M colors capability ? default driver ? ACAN driver ?

Your problem isn't the monitor. Your problem is the drivers for the video display (card or built in on the board). You should have a CD of floppy with the drivers for the display, either stand alone or packaged with the Cd for the M/B. Ed Fair
