Hello!
We have converted some system phones (4222) to ip-phones (4422) and everything is working ok.
But, we are missing one feature:
When calling from one extension to another, and the other extension have some absence code, the call goes to the operator instead of showing the absence information to the caller in the display.
This is the same behaviour as with old analogue phones. The operator is not happy about to continue to install more ip-phones, she will have to answer more calls like "he's out for lunch" just to the colleague in the other end of the corridor...
Our local Ericsson specialist/dealer thinks that there is nothing to do about this, but is that correct? If not, can we expect that some future upgrade will solve it? We are for the moment running TSW.
Thanks!
Micke
