about preloaders and loadmovie action

Hi.
I have in main timeline a menu, when clicked on any button *.swf is loaded in an empty mc. This *.swf is divided by four sections - so far, everything works fine -. The only thing i want is, in each section load in another empty mc placed in *.swf another swf which displays the proper content to every section with preloader.
From the first time i insert a preloader nothing works, and i'm afraid i'm breaking my mind.
Someone knows kinda tutorial or something to organice my ideas? i'm three days on this stuff and i can't get any progress

thank your oldnewbie for your response. But I don't know what i'm doing wrong. Once inside loaded everything looks a mess. I thought it was not very complicated load a swf in an empty mc, and once loaded the swf, load another swf in an empty mc with preloader in the loaded swf. I'd appreciate a lot a tutorial in this sense. I've been looking for but at last the only thing i've got is a fuss of tutorials in my mind. My God, this flash is sometimes really hard to learn. i've seen a terrific good preloader tutorial of yours in kirupa'foro, but more of the same; something wrong i'm doing and i don't know what.
I'll be looking for.I'm not clever with this stuff but i'm stubborn. thank you
