About Access & SNMP Agents

Hi folks!

I´d like to set up an AAU (Access Agent Unit) or Stand Alone Box in MD110. I´ve read something about that, but I haven´t found the SNMP traps that are sent when an alarm is detected.

Has someone worked with this board or Stand alone box, and knows which traps are sent, even the 6 alarms that reports?

You get the MIB file on the diskett with the SNMP software. You can see the MD configuration and recives a trap at every alarm in the MD.

Another thing to watch out for is that the access lists between the two devices (if in different networks) allows you to FTP the MIB file to the AAU. The Access Lists will also have to allow SNMP traps to pass between them ports 161 and 162 from memory.
