Abnormal Increase in Log Files

In the last two days our log files have gone from being able to go a week with a 30GB partion to now having a 60GB partion that fills up in about 16 hours. Does anyone have any ideas on what might cause this unusual increase? Thanks in advance.

That is a vast increase in traffic. Look at your inbound and outbound email logs - are you sending 100 times more outbound emails than previously? Are you compromised?

We figured it out... It was a runaway script that an analyst had setup on another server sending reports... as soon as we removed that server from the relay list the increase stopped... Anyway, thanks for the input!
