abend on dplsv386.nlm

Hi,

our server abends on dplsv386.nlm with"Page Fault Running Process: GW_TskThrd_3_FUN_UNSCHEDULED_PROCEE code excecuting in module dplsv386.nlm v.1.11 at offset +29D47h"
any idea whau cause the abend?

What OS/SP and GW are you running? Are you also running NDPS printing from the same server? DPLSV386.NLM is an NDPS module.. I recall vaguely seeing another server do the same thing and it seems that there was an NDPS update that fixed it. But it will depend on which Netware you have.

O/S is NetWare6, SP5 and we are running GW6.5. We just put NDPS printing on this server. Do you recall the NDPS update you mentioned? Thanks a lot!

I can't seem to find reference to the problem that I saw before.. I believe it was on NW6.5. What patch are you on with GroupWise?

Also, here is a note I found in the NW6 SP5 documentation. See if that matches the problem you have.

5.2.3 Abend When Unloading WebAccess

A server running GroupWise WebAccess and NDPS might
abend when unloading the WebAccess modules. To avoid
this, unload the NDPS NLM programs before unloading the
WebAccess modules or move WebAccess or NDPS to a
different server
