Hi there, I know I can enter ~p, etc. but how can a user DIAL a pause when programming a button?

I can't find any info, thanks in advance!

I just set them up with the programming buttons in the softkey assignments;

abr-prog
abr-spchar ~p (this is their pause button)
abr-spchar ~m (this is their mark button)
abr-spchar ~w (this is their wait for tone button)

Abbreviated Dialing Special Character button

Description Allows users to enter an associated special character [~, ~m (mark), ~p (pause), ~s (suppress), ~w (wait for dial tone), or ~W (wait forever)] when programming an abbreviated dialing list entry.
Button name abr-spchar
Suggested button label AbrvDial (char)

define the softkey buttons on the station.
