Hi.
Got problems with some Dialog 4422 ip office phones.

This is what happends:

starting the phone: "Use admin mode" dialog appers and it counts, then it goes to "Lan access control Please wait" for a couple of seconds, then it says "Please Wait", now it says Getting configuration file" Then "loading software", here the "mute" button flashes ones, then it reboots.
The hole process takes about 35 seconds.

The phones got the id: DBC 422 02/02001 R3C

- We´ve tried too set the phone too default on all the ip-adresses. Same result.
- We´ve tried too take the phones "offline" and made a little dhcp-network too see if the phone got an ip from it and it did. You can ping the phone and it answer.

The qustions i have is:
Why does it reboot? and how do i stop it?
Can i get into the web-config of the phone without it´s connected too the "phonegrid"?

Hope you understand my English. [wink]

Looks like corruption...phone should not reboot at the end of the process...
Try to upgrade phone with the latest FW...you will need SW server on the network (web server, port 80) and FW on the root of that server (folder DBC42x02)...then, when you seen message on the phone "Use admin mode..." press C * 4 (in that order, keep buttons presed all together for at leasst 2 sec). Change "SW server from DHCP" to no (speaker button to confirm), then chage "SW server IP address" to match your SW server (speaker button to confirm). Press C button and let the phone to boot...if everithing is in place, phone will update and clear corruption...post here result...

We have been successful in restoring the phones. It must have been the firmware in these phones that have been corrupted.

Thank you for the help.
