You can use any number for press 0 if you are using MLAA

On an unrelated topic I notice your system is a CXi II with 4 ports embedded VM. Are you aware you can increase this to 16, it will require a reboot though.

The CX II's have all the resources built in to accommodate 16 ports of voicemail.

Thanks Supernova

Sarond, yes totally aware CX II has 16 ports. not using voicemail for users just AA and Rad, site only has 4 pstn lines, and never really gets busy....Will keep it in mind.

Quick question for Supernova, which I forgot earlier

using the MLAA, the menu node message plays 3 times before the timeout action kicks in, correct? If I want the message to play only once, I can't change this? Even in admin TUI.

@Jakt99
Unfortunatly there is no way to change this
there is only a timeout option

Changing a Menu Node Mailbox Time Out Behavior
Access the Administrator's Mailbox.

Press [2] to edit or delete mailboxes.

Press [2] for the Edit Mailbox menu.

Enter the mailbox number to edit.

Press [#] until you get to the Menu Node Time Out option. The system specifies the active Menu Node Time Out behavior:
"Disconnect on menu mailbox time out is disabled" – callers are sent to the mailbox operator upon time out.
"Disconnect on menu node time out is enabled" – callers are disconnected upon time out.

To disconnect callers upon time out, press [1] (enable disconnect).
To send callers to the mailbox operator upon time out, press [2] (disable disconnect).

Note: The default is "Disconnect on menu mailbox time out is disabled".

The system returns you to the mailbox.

On the older SX-200's My COS's for the VM ports were always set to a transfer recall timer of Zero (Disabled).

I have adopted this for my 3300 programming but must admit that I do not have the same confidence level of its effectiveness.

The 3300 is much more finicky when it comes to timers on outside calls. A lot of the time the timer that applies is the one assigned to the trunk. I'm not sure which timer applies in this case, VM or Trunk, but it would be worth a try for you to set the timer to zero for the VM ports and give it a test.
