IE for a user to dial-in, access their mailbox and turn forwarding on and off?

Or must they do it from their phone? I know an admin can from Manager, but would like to put the onus on the users.

Dear god that sent my OCD into a frenzy! The lines!!! Dear god why are all the lines crossing each other?
Haha, i must admit i feel the same way.

I think a lot of people have this :)
I can stand it when there is no other option then crossing the lines :)

I can't download kyle's example, I get a 'page cannot be found' when I click on the download link.

I straightened out the lines the best I could, I wasn't the one who set this up, it was actually an Avaya partner.

Basically, my guess is that after dialling '999' and '2' the caller is not
presented with a prompt to enter their mailbox number followed by a '#',
based upon the following assumptions:

>>So you dial into the MainAttend Menu
>>Then at the 'Main Greeting' Menu Action
>>[Which I assume has a prompt giving options]
>>Dial 999
>>This then presumably routes to the 'Voicemail and Forward' Menu Action
>>[Which I assume also has a prompt giving options]
>>Dial 2
>>Which then Routes to the 'Remote Forward' Menu Action.
>>[Which I assume does not have a prompt giving directions]
As this has a '$' exit, it is expecting a number, presumably the
Mailbox number followed by a '#'.
>>After Entering follwed by a '#' $KEY will have the number entered.
>>The 'Generic' Action that follows presumably is set as 'CP0:$KEY
copying the contents of $KEY to $CP0.
>>The 'Specific' Tab of the 'Play Configuration Menu' Action will I assume
have the 'Mailbox' bullet checked with the field value set to $CP0, if
the 'Generic' action assumption is correct that is.

Dragon, that is correct.

I gave up on it after not being able to get it working. If anyone else has any idea's I am open to it.

Make a new module, and put in just your "Remote FWD" > Generic > Play Config.

This way you can create a SC that points to the new module and look if that work when you dial in direct to that remote FWD module.

Then try to point menu option 2 "Voicemail and Forward" to a goto, and select the new module name.

You're making it to hard to see how thing a going this way, this way you can test just a bit and you can troubleshoot easier.

It works! Now if only I could remember what I did...

Ok, if my assumptions above were right then:

1) After Dialing the 2, entering the mailbox number followed by a '#' should work, and

2) You should, in the 'Remote Forward' Menu action, add a prompt requesting the caller enter a number followed by '#', and save and make live.

If it does not work, my assumption vs the actual detail is incorrect.

Dr. Peter Venkman: What?
Dr. Egon Spengler: Don't cross the streams.
Dr. Peter Venkman: Why?
Dr. Egon Spengler: It would be bad.
Dr. Peter Venkman: I'm a little fuzzy on the whole "good/bad" thing here. What do you mean, "bad"?
Dr. Egon Spengler: Try to imagine all life as you know it stopping instantaneously and every molecule in your body exploding at the speed of light.
Dr. Ray Stantz: Total protonic reversal!
Dr. Peter Venkman: That's bad. Okay. All right, important safety tip. Thanks, Egon.
