Every time I surf the web, I keep getting a popup box appearing saying " A Runtime error has occurred do you wish to debug? It seems to happen in every page. I am running Explorer 6.0...does anyone know what I can do..

thank you

I think my first stop would be to repair IE6. Go to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs double-click Internet Explorer etc and select repair.

The debug thing was added to IE6 so it could inform Microsoft of errors.

After repairing, you can turn off the error message by going to Tools>Internet Options, c;licking the Advanced tab and checking "Disable Script Debugging"

It serves no pupose whatsoever for the typical user.

If you have Microsoft Office installed and it still appears, go to Start>Run, and type msconfig. Click the Startup tab and uncheck the Machine Debug Manager entry.
