from ex 5.5 to e2k I successfully migrated a mailbox nad you can see it in the e2k system no longer in Ex 5.5.
now when I setup outlook for the migrated user the setup sets it back to the ex 5.5 system than the e2k system,
then you get the no permissions to see do you want your default foldewrs instead ect ect any thoughs...

force outlook to look at the new server... also did you change the domain name between NT 4.0 and Win 2k?

I have a users account in AD but mail on nt ex 5.5 , then move the mailbox to e2k everything is fine.
But the adc creates a account if it dosn't have one in ad and if I move the mailbox before I switch to the Ad account it moves over fine to e2k but you cant access your email account also how come after you move the mailbox from ex 5.5 to e2k you can still se the mailbox in ex 5.5, but the account is accessing from the e2k system and you can see the account in e2k?

I'm confused... I read that post 3 times and don't know what the heck you just said :)... are these all on the same domain?

Confused too, Joshua, write a little clearer if possible please.
Bottom line, change the connection to the E2K server via control panel - mail settings. Don't even bother connecting to the 5.5 anymore, you are just confusing yourself.
