I am trying to pull some data into a letter and the data is in a Paradox database. I am wondering if there is a macro or a way to pull this data into the letter?

Hi, yes there is a way to do this, using DDE links. This is the most simple way (I think)

Open the table in Paradox and copy the field that you want to put in WordPerfect. Open a document in WordPerfect and choose edit/paste special/paste link. Your field data should now be in your WordPerfect doc', just carry on copying and 'special pasting' until you have all your required fields in the doc' and then save the doc. When you have the document open and move to a different record in Paradox you will see the data change to reflect. I have automated mine with a button on the power bar.

Hope this helps.

(by the way, you have to be in the Paradox table to perform the DDE, for some reason it does not work if you're in a form!)
