A little VM help 1

I setup a new extension on an 012 board. It is a standard non-MLX phone. It works fine. I then setup a mailbox with COS of 2 (this is a MLM007 VM system). It rings and rings with no answer. Does there have to actually be a PHONE on the line ? This phone gets unplugged during the day and gets used later in the evening. Originally we used a phantom mailbox (defined to an adjunct) that mailbox answered on first ring. How do I get this new extension to answer after the default number of rings ? We still want to be able to use the phone in the evening and if not answered to transfer to VM like any other extension. Do I need to define this as an MLX and configure buttons ?

Did you add the extension to the Voice Mail Coverage Group (typically 30)?

that is prob it. For some reason when I renamed the old adjunct and then the new ext to the old adjunct name I somehow thought it got carried over. I check the def and there in no cover group. I will add that in and retest. thanks!
