A link to also close the window

What's the syntax for appending a link in a flash and also have it close when clicked?

I have this but it does not work

http://www.mysite.com?window.close()

yeah, thats the problem, i dont want the security alert to pop up...

i think i got it anyway, i have the window timed to close at a certain point without creating an alert.
