There have been many very knowledgeable people on this board who have taken the time to write some very helpful FAQ's. Take a minute before you submit your question and have a look at them. Your answer may be there.

Have a happy and safe Fourth of July...

Blue,

A useful reminder. Thank you.

I have asked that this be changed from a question to a helpful hint with a lightbulb icon.

Enjoy,
Tony

My thanks, too, Blue.

[green]If I may whisper another tip, I would ask folks to use descriptive subject lines - "Access Problem" doesn't say much.[/green]

Does the search forum also search the FAQ? I always try a search first, but sometimes my keywords do not appear in the correct answers. Just shows how far off base one can be.

[cheers] & all the best.

The search option lets you check the Forums or the FAQs. From now on, I'll remember to do both. But wouldn't it make sense to allow both to be searched at the same time? Even to have this as the default?

madawc is correct, tek-tips is a superb site but the search function is a let down. I often use it to no avail -only to find my answer(s) manually in the forums later (with my search keywords present!)
hopw this makes sense, still a great site!
try and have a good day everyone
