A funny printing problem with groups

We have a report that is a letter to parents about their childs admission to a new school. It is grouped by the receiver school. It has the child's ID in the footer in case the first page gets separated from the second page of the letter. The admissions team want to be able to drill down on the receiver school group then print those pages. Two odd things happen, 1 the child's id doesn't show in the footer 2 when they try to print say 1-100 of the pages in the group they only get the first page.

I've found out the answer to one piece of this problem. The footers not showing in the drill down group is because a Report Option had not been ticked. So for anyone else who has this problem go to File, Report Options and tick the box Show all Headers on Drill Down. (Works for footers too!)

Hey AJ,
I've had a similar problem. Turned out to be drivers for the Laser printer. Have you attempted to print to an entirely different printer?

Yes we were beginning to suspect that it was the drivers although we have the added problem that some people seem to be able to print to the printer and some don't so now we are looking at personal profiles too.
