Situation: Three Legends networked via 100D PRI.
Due to consolidation of departments, I need to move a bunch of extensions from one of the Slave Legends to the Master, and will add two 016MLX cards to max out all slots, as below. There is also an Intuity Audix hanging off the Master (016 TRR cards, 6 ports each). Anyone see potential problems with this configuration. This is not a call center and phones are not normally terribly busy. I think I'm pushing available addressng.

Slot # 0: CKE4 CPU (R7.v9)
Slot # 1: 408 GLM-U
Slot # 2: 400 GS/LS/TTR
Slot # 3: 400 GS/LS/TTR
Slot # 4: 408 GS/LS-MLX
Slot # 5: 008 MLX
Slot # 6: 016 MLX-U
Slot # 7: 016 MLX-U
Slot # 8: 016 MLX-U
Slot # 9: 016 TRR
Slot # 10: 016 TRR
Slot # 11: 100D (to slave #1)
Slot # 12: 100D (to slave #2)
Slot # 13: 008 MLX-U
Slot # 14: 008 MLX
Slot # 15: 016 MLX-U
Slot # 16: 016 MLX-U (add)
Slot # 17: 016 MLX-U (add)

Well, it looks like you have a grand total of 168 Extensions.

The system can handle 200.

So, just based on PHYSICAL EXTENSIONS, it looks like you are OK.

Depending on the number and type of sets, you may need to look at UNIT LOADS, but I doubt it.

This is a BIG LEGEND!

If you think they will grow a little more, you can consolidate slots 13 and 14 onto an 016 while you have they system down and are working on it. It would leave you with a free slot.

Thanks for info.
Unit Loads has always been a mystery to me. My ciphering says that the 1st expansion chassis is overloaded (391C1 = 96 UL) just by the modules (106.6 UL) before plugging in the phones (MLX10s, 57.6 UL) for total of 164.2 UL. System has been running this way for over five years, no problems. The 2nd expansion chassis will calculate about 20 UL more than this. Surely AT&T/Lucent/Avaya designed the power supplies more robust than their specs, or else I misunderstand how UL loading works.

Unit loads are figured with maximum usage, it could work forever if you have minimal usage. Also number of actual phones and phone type comes into play, I believe, more display phones mean more power drain. When I went to the first Legend school for ATT technicians, they said NEVER configure more than 80% of the power supply can actually provide.
